DMC Healthcare has announced the appointment of Phil Curran as Business Development Director to lead the growth strategy aimed at further extending the company’s established community care proposition into ENT, ophthalmology and urgent care.
The step will build on over five years of delivering community dermatology clinics throughout the UK for CCG’s and GP’s.
With outstanding patient feedback from all the dermatology clinics, DMC are looking to focus on their clinically-led service proposition and NHS service values to clearly differentiate them from other providers.
DMC clinics are locally-driven and locally-designed, underpinned by clinical excellence and a clinical governance committee that covers all areas of the organisation, including: risk management, professional development, regular clinical protocol reviews and audits, and the active encouragement of public involvement through patient participation groups.
DMC’s ENT practice is led by clinical lead consultant, ENT surgeon and skull base surgeon Miss Claire Hopkins BMBCh MA (Oxon) FRCS (ORL-HNS) DM.
DMC’s dermatology practice is led by clinical lead consultant dermatologist Dr Tony Downs BSc, MBBS, FRCP. Further information on DMC’s clinical teams and clinical governance procedure is available at www.dmccommunityoutpatients.co.uk
