The Collaborative Impact of DMC Healthcare Partnership with Lincolnshire ICB and ULHT on Reducing Patient Waiting Lists in Lincolnshire Dermatology Post-COVID Recovery
Due to the impact of Covid-19, the Dermatology waiting list surged to nearly 10.5k patients, with wait times exceeding 100 weeks. In response, Lincolnshire ICB and United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust (ULHT) established the Lincolnshire EACH (Elective Activity Coordination Hub) team to validate the entire waiting list, while DMC Healthcare provided crucial support for almost 3000 patients confirmed for treatment.
Outcomes
✅ 10.5K Dermatology patients been validated
✅ 3.5k patients have been referred to DMC Healthcare
✅ 90% of responses extremely likely or likely to recommend our service to family and friends.
✅ 2.1k patients have been discharged as they no longer require treatment
✅ 58% Reduction in waiting lists within 22 weeks
